High Road Kitchens

High Road Kitchens (HRK) are independent restaurants that provide food on a sliding scale to low-wage workers, health care workers first responders, and others in need. Launched during the COVID-19 crisis, HRK provides jobs for restaurant workers and a subsidy for responsible restaurant owners who commit to paying a living wage and following equitable employment practices.

Ballast Point Brewing for Diversity Scholarship

This scholarship seeks to promote diversity and inclusion in the brewing community and foster a skilled and diverse generation of brewing professionals. Along with a full tuition scholarship toward completion of the Professional Certificate in Brewing, the recipient will also have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through an internship with Ballast Point as a capstone to the program. Scholarship program in partnership with UC San Diego Extension Program.

Spread Love San Diego: Food Distribution for Hospitality Industry

Join us this Monday, February 8 for a free food distribution dedicated to members of the hospitality industry. Every registered attendee will receive approximately 50 lbs worth of dry goods, fresh produce, and a frozen meat protein. In addition, you will receive valuable resources on how to access other Feeding San Diego distributions close to your home and information about CalFresh, and how to apply.
